Project Voice Women's Summit announced; full TWIV Season 7 schedule revealed
Back when music award shows were worth watching, we had legendary artists like Michael Jackson put on performances like this.
The Way You Make Me Feel has quite the history, from the model in this performance (who was a tour regular, often performing on this song) getting fired after kissing him on stage, to the song charting all over the world in 2009 after he died.
What stands out is Jackson’s willingness to experiment: here he is, at a major awards show in one of the biggest performances of his career, changing his hit song to an entirely different, jazzy feel, for the first time ever.
Meticulously practiced, and consequently publicly performed, as if he had done it a thousand times before.
Fearless.
Quick note this week with two major updates:
1) The schedule, and guests, for the entire upcoming Season 7 of This Week In Voice has now been publicly released.
A wide range of conversational AI and voice technology folks will be on the program over the coming weeks. Will be great to have a number of new companies participate on the show, reflective of how much growth the space has enjoyed over the last couple of years.
This Week In Voice is available on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Overcast, and other major podcast providers, as well as YouTube. Note that the first episode of Season 7 is currently unavailable and is expected to be released Monday, September 19.
2) We’re pleased to announce the Project Voice Women’s Summit, a new invitation-only part of Project Voice Week next April.
Project Voice 2023 begins Monday, April 24, in its home of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Preceding the event, on Sunday, April 23, will be a first-of-its-kind event where we invite 50 of the top female executives working within the conversational AI / voice technology continuum.
In turn, each of those women executives will be asked to invite a younger female colleague at their company - someone they have either mentored, help open doors for professionally, or someone they care about within the organization. We will invite one woman executive and one woman junior employee per company, at maximum.
A brief program, with a very special guest speaker, will accompany recognition of each of the women executives joining us for this first cohort.
It will be a special afternoon, kicking off a special week.
