Key Conversational AI Dates for May and June
Two upcoming webinars, May 31 deadline for Project Voice 2024 renewal, Leadership Council first post-conference meeting, Women Leaders 2024 deadline
A quick update with numerous key dates coming up that may be of interest:
On Tuesday, May 23, I’ll join Christoph Borner of Cyara to discuss the growing ethics and ethical concerns around generative AI. Registration is here.
On Wednesday, June 7, I’ll join Brett Petersen of Inbenta to discuss how generative AI is impacting and re-shaping customer interactions. Registration is here.
Free to attend, as always, with registrants receiving the Zoom link to attend live along with the audio/video files of the proceedings for on-demand viewing afterward.
Both webinars will be approximately 30 minutes, so a great investment of an hour between the two.
We appreciate the interest in Project Voice 2024: The Pillars of Conversational AI - next year’s follow-up to this year’s Project Voice 2023: The World of Conversational AI.
As has been communicated, the renewal deadline (also serving as the deposit deadline) for Project Voice 2024 for exhibitors and sponsors from this year’s conference is tomorrow (Friday May 19).
Beginning Monday, May 22, exhibitors and sponsors not involved in this past year’s event will have access to the exhibition and Supporting Sponsor level packages until they are sold out.
Remember, 2024’s conference will follow a nearly identical format and structure to 2023, with no additional capacity added in terms of booths, days, and the only programming change being the expansion of breakout tracks to be full-day rather than half-day.
Attendee capacity will be capped at 1,000 registrants as we have learned this year’s size works well to support the fostering of meaningful business relationships rather rapidly.
Thursday, June 29, at 3 PM Eastern / noon Pacific, the Conversational AI Leadership Council will convene virtually.
First, if you want to be part of this important endeavor and your company/organization is not already represented, contact me directly.
The agenda for this 90 minute meeting will be kept private and emailed only to participants and those at participating organizations, and is expected to be sent out a week beforehand. The meeting itself will take place via Zoom. We may also have a surprise guest on hand to address the group.
This Council has grown in size since Project Voice 2023 and the chief output of the June meeting will be to discuss the one or two best ways to make legislative impact in the wake of several new developments both here in the United States and abroad.
The Council will meet quarterly, with a hybrid meeting to be scheduled later this year and a wholly physical meeting once again to take place at Project Voice 2024 next April.
We have only just begun to reach out to Women Leaders of Conversational AI, Class of 2023, that physically attended the April meeting to receive their selections for the Class of 2024. This process will likely take the next 30 days.
We will then have an announcement about how we will fill the rest of the 200-person capacity for the Class of 2024 and the slightly revised process we will deploy to receive nominations and evaluate them. This will continue to be a pre-conference in-person gathering, the day before Project Voice 2024 begins, and this year will have a special keynote that will not be announced until much further down the road.
