Who’s gonna tell you when it’s too late?
Who’s gonna tell you things aren’t so great?
You can’t go on thinking nothing’s wrong…
Who’s gonna drive you home tonight?
Registration for Voice Tech Innovation Week, which is tailored to meet the needs of innovation and strategy managers and executives but is open to anyone who wants to attend, is now online and available here.
Company personnel from organizations small, mid-size, and large are invited to come and learn how other organizations have incorporated voice tech and conversational AI into their contact centers, mobile apps, websites, marketing campaigns, operations, and much more.
Alexa? Google Assistant? Bixby? Custom voice assistant? We’ll talk through all of it, with a parade of special guests consisting of leaders, trailblazers, and pioneers from across the vast landscape of voice and AI.
This will be where innovation and strategy folks can come and get the lay of the land to take back to their executive management, and for executive management themselves to sit in on specific sessions and hear how others are executing.
The week will begin with introductory content pertaining to voice tech and ramp up to more advanced concepts related to conversational AI.
I will moderate the entire week’s worth of sessions, many of which are already listed on the registration page, and more will be added prior to February 1.
Registration is available here.
Registration also opened today for some of our 2021 in-person events:
The Voice of the Car Summit East (Detroit, MI - May 13)
The Voice of the Car Summit West (San Jose, CA - May 20)
The Voice of Healthcare Summit 2021 (Harvard Medical School, Boston MA, August 4-5)
The Voice of Mobile Apps (virtual event in February) opened for registration last week, and Project Voice 2021 (in person) and Project Voice Worldwide (virtual) both have ongoing registration as well.
We want registration pages for all 2021 events up and available as people and companies decide for themselves they’re ready to travel again, which we’re seeing is generally a turn-on-a-dime change of heart followed by wanting to instantly book travel, hotel, and registration. We want to be ready for you.
We have stated repeatedly that the capacity of all in-person events we do in 2021 will be decreased from previous years in order to maintain hygiene, health, and safety. Virtual events we do will not be limited in number.
The remainder of the 2021 Project Voice Series lineup, both physical and virtual, should have registration available by mid next week at latest.

JANUARY 28: Fireside Chat with DefinedCrowd’s CEO Daniela Braga on the role of AI datasets
This is a great opportunity to meet with a true original in the voice/AI space and one of the more exciting leaders, covering a topic at the intersection of data science and conversational AI. I’ll moderate the discussion.
MULTIMODAL VOICE/AI BUSINESS FOR SALE: The original inventor of visual IVRs has created a technology which enhances an ordinary call by joining a data session to it, positioning the experience between a standard phone call and a videoconference.
This approach allows interoperability with phones worldwide and turns an ordinary phone call into a smart home speaker with visuals. Any company wanting to expand into multimodal IVRs, phonebots, contact centers and other types of enhanced business calls would find this company of interest, regardless of vertical.
If you’re interested in learning more, I’m happy to connect you to the company’s founders, who can share more about their story, and why and to whom they’re looking to sell.
